Andersberg School is a K-3 school with about 123 students with a diversity of languages and cultures. As a teacher for grades 4-6, you will work with teaching, have class responsibility, and be responsible for mapping, planning, implementing, and evaluating lessons. The work is carried out according to established goals and guidelines. Your responsibilities also include mentorship and, together with your colleagues, designing a good, enjoyable, and varied school day with the students' best interests in focus. You challenge and support the students so that they achieve good academic results and adapt your teaching based on all students' needs and conditions. The work is done in collaboration with other educators, student health, guardians, and other actors outside the school.

In accordance with Gävle municipality's values, you have a good attitude, a strong ability to collaborate, and care about high quality in your work.

You as the final candidate must be able to present a criminal record from the police for work in schools or preschools. This should not be attached to your application.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a teaching degree and teaching certification with the authority to teach in grades 4-6 and the subjects MA/NO. A prerequisite for the position is that you are familiar with and knowledgeable about the curriculum for primary schools. Furthermore, you have the ability to express yourself well in the Swedish language in both speech and writing, as this is required in your work in dialogue with colleagues, guardians, and students. It is desirable that you have good knowledge of, and experience with, digital tools, as much of the teaching and planning is done digitally, for example, documentation in Unikum or Office.

To succeed as a teacher at Andersberg School, you take initiative in social contexts and have the ability to build trust in your professional relationships. You have the ability to lead and motivate students and make them feel comfortable and well in school. Furthermore, you are good at creating an open dialogue and adapting your language based on the current situation. You also have a good ability to make students feel a sense of belonging and inclusion in the teaching.

As a person, you have a humble approach in your collaboration with colleagues, students, guardians, and actors outside the school. You are structured and plan your work well. You adapt to different situations and have the ability to change your perspective and approach. You see opportunities in changes.
